What? The SUNSHINE state?

Today was an easy day - no traffic, but plenty of road construction through South Carolina and Georgia! We'll be sure to hit that on the way home since we'll be travelling on a weekday versus a Sunday. . .

So we cross into Florida, the Sunshine State and doesn't the sky darken and open up on us! Looks like the Egan cloud has found us, I'm hoping it won't follow us to Key West tomorrow.

We arrived Flagler Beach and we have a prime site - pulled right up to the beach! It's very warm down here but we can't open the windows because the rain is coming through the open windows and soaking everything. Thinking the glass is half-full, I'm just happy because it's November and I'm wearing SHORTS!!! Yay!!

But - no worries, I checked the weather and it looks like Key West is going to be pretty good for the week. I have re-read my guide books to Key West and it's going to be a busy week - so many attractions & shops, so little time! I'll keep you posted on our progress. . .

That looks like the dream campsite, watch out for high tide!
Thinking of you, certain you are having a blast, wish I was there!!!
